In the last post, I posed the contemplation…What does “Consistency” mean to YOU?
If you missed the last blog, PLEASE read that one FIRST (Click Here)!
And before we go further on this exploration, everyone is different based on their own experiences, perceptions, and interpretations. These are mine, but maybe there will be something here that inspires your own exploration!
For me, Consistency means "repetition, a pattern, or routine."
In the business world, “they” stress being consistent in your marketing and staying connected with your community. If you don’t have a business, here is another example, in terms of your health and wellness, “they” stress consistency in eating healthy and exercising.
If you want to be “successful,” you “should” or “must” follow this “proven formula.”

There I go again… I just got sidetracked… or did I just PAUSE?… Was that "SIGNIFICANT"?!
Let’s keep exploring…
Webster’s Dictionary defines "Consistency" as:
a: agreement or harmony of parts or features to one another or a whole,
b: harmony of conduct or practice with profession
a degree of firmness, density, viscosity, or resistance to movement or separation of constituent particles
a: firmness of constitution or character,
b: a condition of adhering together : firmness of material substance
It is from the Latin consistent- meaning ‘standing firm or still, existing.’
Did any of those resonate or make you PAUSE?!
Was there any “significant” words that stood out?!
PAUSE and read those definitions again… slowly…
Were there any words that made you PAUSE?
Now, go back to YOUR original definition of “Consistency.”

Based on my own definition of "repetition, a pattern, or routine" and reading the words “resistance to movement”, and the Latin meaning of ‘standing firm or “still”, “existing”,’ it really seems counterintuitive! If I want to move forward, why would I do something that causes resistance to movement, stillness, and simply existing?!

And going back to the channeled title… “When Consistency is Nonexistent”…
Is that not a good thing for consistency to be nonexistent?!
Is "Consistency" really meant to be more fluid… more inspired… more channeled?
